HIGHLIGHTER & Cartridge Maintenance

Proper maintenance of your vapor batteries and cartridges can extend life and keep them performing as expected. 

Some signs that your components need to be cleaned may include: 

• Clogged feeling or airflow issues 

• Stickiness at connection points 

• Center pin falling out or sticking to battery 

• Vapor not coming out 

• No indicator lights 

You’ll need: 

• 70-90% isopropyl or ethyl alcohol 

• Cotton swabs (recommended) or wipes

• A gentle touch!

Cartridge

1. Dip swab in alcohol and drain or squeeze out excess moisture. (The swab should be damp and should not drip.)

2. Clean around the side air holes located above the threads at the base of the cartridge.

3. Clean on and between the threads. 

Battery

1. Dip swab in alcohol and drain or squeeze out excess moisture. (The swab should be damp and should not drip.)

2. Clean on and between the threads. 

3. Carefully clean the battery center pin contact point. Be very gentle to avoid bending the spring.

4. Allow to dry completely before connecting a cartridge.
